BNS EarthFest

2026

Join us for Blacksburg New School’s annual EarthFest! This family-friendly event will feature interactive eco-activities for all ages, as well as a Used Book & Game Sale. You can visit the VT Bug Zoo, get your face painted, catch a performance by Blacksburg Dance Theater, learn about nature journaling on our playground, or grab some empanadas or acai bowls from the two food vendors on site.

Admission is free! Come celebrate Earth Day with us and support BNS while enjoying a fun-filled day with the community!

Note: Onsite parking is limited. We encourage folks to carpool or ride bikes to the event if they are able. There is also street parking available in nearby neighborhoods and at Blacksburg Christian Fellowship only a short walk away on the newly completed walking path. Please do *not* park at the cemetery across the street. We'll also have a drop-off site for those needing to drop participants off before parking.
